At its meeting held April 3, 2007, the Board took the following action:
Supervisor Antonovich made the following statement:
"On the evening of October 3, 2006, there was a burglary and vandalism committed at Apollo Park in Antelope Valley. Upon investigation, officers discovered that a County truck and tools were stolen and racial epithets were spray-painted inside of the office building. The reward will expire on April 8, 2007."The Sheriff's Lancaster Station is seeking assistance with any information that may aid in their investigation of this incident."
Therefore, on motion of Supervisor Antonovich, seconded by Supervisor Yaroslavsky, unanimously carried, the Board extended the $10,000 reward offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the burglary and vandalism inside the office building at Apollo Park in Antelope Valley, during the evening of Tuesday, October 3, 2006.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORSNotice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles has extended the $10,000 reward offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the burglary and vandalism inside the office building at Apollo Park in Antelope Valley, during the evening of Tuesday, October 3, 2006.
Any person having any information related to this crime is requested to call Lieutenant Don Downton at the Los Angeles County Sheriff�s Lancaster Station, Detective Bureau at (661) 940-3840 and refer to Report No. 506-21947-1182-071.
The terms of the reward provide that:
The information given that leads to the determination of the identity, the apprehension and conviction of any person or persons must be given no later than July 7, 2007. All reward claims must be in writing and shall be received no later than September 5, 2007. The total County payment of any and all rewards shall in no event exceed $10,000 and no claim shall be paid prior to conviction unless the Board of Supervisors makes a finding of impossibility of conviction due to the death or incapacity of the person or persons responsible for the crime or crimes. The County reward may be apportioned between various persons and/or paid for the conviction of various persons as the circumstances fairly dictate.Any claims for the reward funds should be filed no later than September 5, 2007 with the Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors, 500 West Temple Street, Room 383 Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, Los Angeles, California 90012, Attention: Apollo Park Reward Fund.
